Equipment

Licensed & insured.
Hiring an uncertified pilot puts the liability on you. Everything here is by the book.
Transport Canada RPAS pilot certificate
Certified to fly commercially under Canadian Aviation Regulations, Part IX. Not a hobby operation.
Liability insurance
Covered for commercial drone operations. Proof of insurance sent on request before the shoot.
Registered aircraft
My drone is registered with Transport Canada and marked with its registration number, as required by law.
Airspace checked before every flight
Montreal sits under controlled airspace. I check NAV CANADA maps and request authorization when a site requires it.
